While the first Landspeeder we built replicated the vehicle from the movie, the owner also wondered what it would have looked like new...so we built a second Landspeeder without all the damage from driving around on Tattooine...

Again we started with an empty shell, build a chassis and drivetrain from scratch using the electric engine from a golf cart, and painted it to look brand new...

Lots of bodywork and laying out very complicated stripes...

Mounted back on the chassis, which opens funny-car style for access to batteries and electronics.  The chassis can be raised 7 inches via air shocks to help clearing speedbumps and potholes should the need arise.

All finished!!!  Unlike the beat up landspeeder in the movie, this one isn't missing the electronic covers on the front and rear, doesn't have dents and damage all over it, and it's paint is beautiful...
