Project: General Lee #16

We pulled this car from a field where it had sat for about 15 years.  Only one wheel turned, and it was buried up to the frame, but we got it out and cleaned up. 

Not much to start with:

8 months later...

Lots of new sheetmetal, smooth body and gorgeous paint. This car is 1975 Corvette Flame Red, with General Lee decals under 6 coats of clear.

Powered by a 383, bored .030 over, Crane performance cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads, Weiand intake, and a Demon 650 carb. Accessories include a 120 Amp alternator, Classic Air AC system w/134A refrigerant, and a Hydroboost power brake system.

Interior is done in Saddle Tan, with custom covered upper door panels, dash pad, and armrests to match seat and doorpanels. Autogage temp, oil and voltage in the stock locations, Rallye tach, Grant Classic steering wheel, Power locks and windows, and a 4-point rollbar.
