This 1950 Hudson had some mild custom work done to the body before it was brought to us, and Scotlea Hot Rods was tasked with finishing the job - including restoring all of the drivetrain and interior, painting it, and getting it on the road again. So we decided to start this one by finishing the bodywork and paint, then move on to the mechanicals...

Interior finished up - did a custom recover on original seats, restored dash to original condition but modern stereo and 12v systems, added a console for convenience, and some shiny bits and pieces here and there, including the 3rd brakelight since the rear lights are so low to the ground.

Engine is the original Straight=6 that we didn't even have to rebuild - just needed a new carb and lots of scrubbing (and a few cans of engine paint).

Finished and on the road, racking up more miles on the original drivetrain (still runs great too)!!!
