Who is Dr. Patrick Hagerman?

Dr. Patrick Hagerman is a nationally-recognized leader in the health and fitness industry. He was awarded the National Personal Trainer of the Year award in 2002. He has published six books, over 30 professional articles in magazines and journals, and has been quoted in many major magazines. He has spoken at conferences across the country for organizations such as the National Strength and Conditioning Association, IDEA Association of Fitness Professionals, and the US Air Force. Dr. Hagerman consults with athletes and fitness enthusiasts nationwide. He is certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer, ACSM Health Fitness Specialist, and is an IDEA Master Trainer. He has coached for USA Weightlifting and USA Triathlon. He holds degrees in Health and Community Wellness, Exercise Physiology, and Exercise Science. Dr. Hagerman is also the Assistant Editor-In-Chief of the Strength and Conditioning Journal, and a former member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association board of directors.
