1969 Chevelle

Shop Car

We decided to build ourselves a simple shop car to run around town in, make parts and burger runs, etc. There just happened to be a 69 Chevelle for sale locally that the owner had given up on building, so it's now with us and getting the royal, but simple, treatment. The body was removed from the frame, and the frame completely cleaned, painted and rebuilt back to factory specs - with the addition of poly bushings and front disc brakes. The body received new floors and quarterpanels.

Back from the body shop with a nice flat black paintjob. In a turn of events, the small block has been yanked out - replaced with a very well-build 454 and turbo 400 trans. Bigger is better.
